Product Manager – Azure Cloud (Internal Services)
The Product Manager – Azure Cloud will lead the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of internal Azure cloud service offerings. Unlike traditional external-facing product roles, this position focuses on internal customers across the enterprise, ensuring that our cloud services meet business needs while maintaining scalability, security, and efficiency.
The Product Manager will also serve as a Scrum Master, guiding agile ceremonies and ensuring successful delivery of cloud-related initiatives and projects. This role blends product ownership, technical resource management, and agile leadership in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Management (Internal Azure Services):
- Define and maintain the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for internal Azure cloud service offerings.
- Gather and prioritize requirements from internal stakeholders (engineering, data, application, and business teams).
- Ensure Azure services align with enterprise architecture, governance, and compliance standards.
- Measure and report on adoption, performance, and value delivered by internal Azure cloud products.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
- Remove impediments and foster an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Track delivery progress using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum practices to increase maturity and efficiency.
Azure Cloud Resource & Project Management:
- Oversee provisioning, configuration, and governance of Azure cloud resources.
- Coordinate with cloud engineers and architects to ensure efficient use of compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Manage cloud project delivery, including migrations, modernization efforts, and platform enhancements.
- Monitor cloud cost optimization, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, IT service management, or cloud operations.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, identity, security, monitoring, etc.).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of agile frameworks, cloud governance, and FinOps principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Administrator, or Solutions Architect).
- Prior experience in an internal IT/cloud platform product role.
Location: This role can be remote or onsite Chicago
