Angular Front-End Developer
The UI Front End Developer will join a central UI crew, working on Java-based microservice applications. This role focuses on building robust, scalable web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular framework
• Build and customize reusable UI components within our design system
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate Figma designs into functional, pixel-perfect interfaces
• Integrate front-end applications with Java-based microservices via RESTful APIs
• Implement and maintain the Design System Management (DSM) for consistency across applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
• Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and debug cross-browser compatibility issues
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• 3+ years of professional experience in front-end development
• Strong proficiency in Angular (Angular 12+ preferred)
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating with microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools for design-to-code translation
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture and reusable design patterns
• Knowledge of state management solutions (NgRx, RxJS)
• Familiarity with build tools and package managers (npm, webpack, Angular CLI)
• Frameworks/Libraries: Angular, RxJS
• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
• Design Tools: Figma, Design System Management tools
• Development Tools: VS Code, Git, Chrome DevTools
• Methodologies: Component-driven development, Atomic Design principles
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Design System Management (DSM) platforms
• Mobile banking or financial services application experience
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Jest)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Java or understanding of microservices
