About the Role

Techstra Solution is seeking an experienced UKG Pro & Workforce Management (WFM) Consultant to support complex HR and workforce management implementations, migrations, and readiness assessments. This role focuses on both functional and technical delivery across UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions, supporting enterprise clients through full lifecycle implementations and critical go-live phases.

You will play a key role in assessing readiness, identifying risks, resolving gaps, and guiding clients through configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare—ensuring stable, compliant, and successful UKG deployments.

This role is ideal for someone with strong UKG expertise, consulting experience, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in high-impact HR and WFM programs.


What You’ll Do

UKG Implementation & Delivery

  • Support full lifecycle delivery of UKG Pro and WFM Dimensions implementations and workstreams

  • Participate in business analysis, functional design, system configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare

  • Lead or contribute to system migrations from legacy or comparable HR/WFM platforms to UKG Pro and WFD

  • Assess pre–go-live readiness and identify risks across configuration, data, integrations, and testing

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Work across UKG Pro and WFM functional areas including:

    • HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals, Attestation, and Mobile

  • Support Advanced Scheduling and Forecasting, Time & Attendance, and WFM configuration

  • Perform system gap analysis and recommend practical, scalable solutions

  • Leverage knowledge of Boomi or similar integration platforms to support inbound/outbound integrations

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and client working sessions

  • Lead discussions on integrations, development, customizations, and data conversion

  • Document functional requirements, design decisions, gaps, and mitigation strategies

  • Act as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying issues and recommending viable solutions

Quality, Risk & Readiness

  • Audit UKG Pro WFM programs across all phases: discovery, design, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare

  • Capture and document critical go-live risks, gaps, and remediation plans

  • Support validation and testing activities to ensure business and system readiness

  • Contribute to stable go-lives with minimal business disruption


What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro) and UKG WFM Dimensions

  • 4+ years of experience working with HR and WFM functions and processes

  • Strong experience with one or more of the following:

    • Advanced Scheduler / Forecasting

    • Time & Attendance

    • Accruals

    • Attestation

  • Experience working across the full lifecycle of a UKG WFM project or workstream

  • Proven experience facilitating requirements workshops and client meetings

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Direct experience with migrations from other HR/WFM systems to UKG Pro and WFD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of external consulting experience

  • Experience with other HRIS implementations beyond UKG

  • Broader exposure to UKG Pro HR, Payroll, Talent, or WFM architecture and supporting processes
